Yup, I got hurt again this week in softball. Beating out a groundball to first base, I ran into the moron of a second baseman(who was built like a house) because he was standing about 3 feet past the bag. Saw me coming and didnt move. Small little me running very fast vs Immovable object. I wonder who won. It wasnt me!!! LOL. My left groin muscle is hurting and my right shin that I hurt 3 weeks ago after getting hit with a throw in the back and falling on home plate on my shin...lol.

I wonder if the softball gods are trying to tell me something!!!! Maybe its time to pick up golf after this season...lol

I pitched yesterday for the 1st time in like 8 weeks and the 2nd time in a year. I actually felt good out there and almost back to how I was pitching 3 years ago. We lost the game I pitched but not because of me. Too many errors and a few bloop hits. Oh well. I was happy with the way I pitched. And my arm didnt hurt at all!

I cant believe I have actually wrote in here twice in 2 weeks. Maybe I should update more!! Bad LJer I am!!

FINALS ARE OVER!!!!

I think i did pretty well. I think i got 3 A's and 1 B with the B coming in philosophy. Although depending on if the teacher grades with a curve I may have an A. I got all B's on my 3 essay tests so who knows...lol

Thank god it is over. I dont have to worry about classes until March. Now I just gotta schedule an appointment with an advisor to figure out what classes to take for next semester and get the ball rolling towards my transfer to Brooklyn College for September.

I am gonna be taking my EMT refresher in January....finally!! My license only expired last February. So by march I will be able to ride the ambulance again although I should be able to start driving in January.

Tonight kismetkisses and I are going out for our 1 year anny to the 21 club in Manhattan for dinner. And tomorrow we are going to see the play "I love you your perfect now change" and go see the tree at rockefeller center as well as go window shopping.

Wooohooo one final down three more to go. I had my Political science final tonight. Got at least a 90 so along with my 100 on the midterm I definately got an A in this class. I need to get 3 more...lol

Tomorrow night is history and economics...not really worried about either of them. But i doubt I will be sleeping much tonight as I still have a paper to write for History as well as put the finishing touches on another paper for history. I have taken off work tomorrow so I will have all day to write and study.

Saturday is gonna be the toughie....philosophy. Ughh!!!

yes its me the one who doesnt post much...lol

I will have a post about my suprise birthday party this past weekend but i will wait until after my actual birthday which is this saturday since kismetkisses still has some surprises in store for me. But I will say my loving girlfriend did an excellent job and made this birthday very very special. One I will never forget and the best one I have had. I didnt actually feel like I was getting old...lol...but I am...quarter of a century!!

as for me...started classes at kcc for the semester. So I am basically in school every night...except the weekend. Go to work till 5 go home shower and go to school. Its tiring but something I have to do so I can get my degree and become a teacher. Classes are easy so its not too bad.

also gotta say baby how is that crow tasting....go red sox!!

and to razzledazzle and nycitygirl....was a pleasure meeting you two and you are crazzzzyyyyy...lol

well bowling night tonight so i am outta here.

the gaming site i play at and run has been down all morning.....such a pain in the azz it can be at times. and to make matters worse...its the only server down out of like the 12 servers they have...ughh!!

In other news....i finally did get the gameboy advanced along with 4 games...zelda,super mario bros,pac man and donkey kong.
Im such a kid...lol

And i finally beat super mario bros after like 15 years. I was so excited too. meanwhile there are probably kids like 10-11 years old who beat it with no problem.

im not giving an actual update right now....ill just give short version

-went to disney with tina and had a great time....go see the pics at www.tom-n-tina.com and sign the guestbook while you are at it!!
-softball team made it to semifinals where we lost in 3 close games 2 games to 1
-tried registering for brooklyn college....but since im lazy and forgot to withdraw from classes at manhattan college my gpa needs to increase....so
-i registered for kingsborough communtity college....hopefully just for the fall semester.
-i go to schedule my classes on tuesday
-bowling starts next tuesday as well....bought my self a kewl new ball.

im tired...my throat hurts...my head hurts. Freakin cold in the summer time is the worst.

I feel like crap and now I gotta go to a play tonight on broadway to see lil shop of horrors. UGH!!!

Good news we won both games in softball today. thats now 9 out of the last 10 we have won. Our record is 14-10 now. Good for second or third place i think.

Oh and the nintendo game boy is haunting me....I have to get it!!!!

What looked like was going to be an absolutely crazy day has turned into a possible veg out all day day...lol

Due to rain...i should say lots of it, we are not going to the wedding. No sense to get dressed up to go for 30 mins only to get soaked.

And the bbq has been canceled since it will be raining all day.

And due to some highway closures(thanx to construction on one and a 60 ft piece of an overpass falling on another) daves party tonight is up in the air.

So we may actually get a weekend day with absolutely nothing to do for once!!! Yeahhhhh

So last night I finally got to meet one of the "ina's". There is Tina,Gina, and Christina...3 girls who grew up together and remain best friends even though they all over the country.

Gina has been in the past week from California and last night the 3 of us went out for some Japanese food. We had a great time. And Tina was ecstatic that she got to see Gina who she sees maybe once a year. I got the approval from Gina as well!! Yippee!!! So according to my calculations I need to get approval from 4 more people.....Im sure Tina will correct me on this if I am wrong.

The crazy weekends never end!!

I just want to take some time to thank a few people for tinas surprise party friday night.

Thanx to Tina's mom for helping me get everything together for the party...food, decorations,etc. And the meatballs were great!!!

To tina's dad and brother for running around friday with me getting all the stuff we need and setting up the apartment.

To dave and maddy for helping me keep everything secret as best as we could.

And to everyone who showed up to make the party a very good one and help give tina the best birthday she has had in a long time.

And one last thank you to tina for cleaning your own apartment for your own party....hehehhee. I love you baby!!

Crazy!!!!

There has been nothing do the last week...thanks to no phones. No phones means cant call any vendors to order things we need to do work. And I am not using my cell phone to do this cause I will never see any of that money.

And to top it all off today guy I am supposed to be splitting weekends with tells me that he needs to work all the weekends as he is taking summer classes. I spent like a day figuring out a schedule for myself for July and August and then went about planning things for days I was off. Well now that schedule needs to change and I gotta figure out what I am gonna do. This all would have been easier if he just continued working weekends like he was since january and like I did for almost 5 years.
UGHH!!

I am officially a geek!!

In the last week I have read the 1st 2 harry potter books and I am just about done with the 3rd.

The way I am going I will probably be done with all 5 by the end of the weekend.

And I have done pretty much all the reading at work. Guess thats what happens when there is nothing else to do. Well I shouldnt say nothing else to do. We have things to do just cant do any of them. My lovely company hasnt paid alot of bills. We have no phones, cant buy anything from certain places. Lovely company but I am still getting paid....for now.

Speaking of geeks, that guy on jepordy is the biggest uber geek. 20 freakin days he has won....over 650,000 dollars. And he does it with ease!!

So I'm sitting here watching wrestling right now and my left leg and my upper back by right shoulder are killing me. But its not bothering too much cause it was well worth it.

Yesterday morning I finally got a real opportunity to pitch for my softball team. This was really the 1st time I have gotten to pitch since I hurt my shoulder a little more than a year ago.

I started off giving up 6 runs in the 1st inning and all I could think was here we go again. 2nd inning started and the first three batters reached loading the bases with nobody out.

I don't know what happened next but something finally clicked and I remembered how I used to pitch. I got out of the inning without a run scoring. As the game went along I believed more and more that I can still pitch. We won the game 11-10 in 8 innings.

The whole game I kept fighting my emotions on the mound. From errors to bad calls and to showing not only my teammates but myself that I could still pitch, it was hard to control all my emotions on the mound but somehow I did enough to pitch the whole game. And when the last out was made in the glove of the centerfielder alot of weight was lifted off my shoulders. I fell to my knees and tears were in my eyes as my teammates came to congratulate me on the mound.

For the 1st time this year, I finally felt back on the team, back to where I belong...On the mound.

Everyone else believed I still can do it.

Yesterday I finally believed myself.

Hello everyone,

Long time no type...lol.
Its been awhile but I am back. My writers block is gone. It took a while but it was very comfy in my head(since theres really not much else in there).

Well anyways....

The other day Tina tells me that her lil brother Robert is now contemplating picking me as his sponsor for confirmation and that I have the summer to win him over....lol. Gotta love kids, you give them stuff they reward you...lol. Well I am blown out of the water here and very honored. I pretty much know him for only about 6 months. I'm hoping he does pick me as I would love to do it since A)he is my future brother-in-law. B)I love the kid....hes crazy and wierd and silly just like me. C)I would be honored to be a part of something important in his life. So all of ya cross your fingers with me. I hope he picks me but if he dont I entered as the longshot anyways and there are others he knows for a lot longer time. And I understand that.

Tata for now everyone. I have more things to write about but since I'm at work I cant do it all now. And I am not gonna promise anything cause well you wont belive me cause last time I promised it took me a month...lol.

So on May 8th kismetkisses and I took her lil bro to the met game. We kept everything a surpise to him. From where we were sitting to that he was getting a jersey and that after the game he was going to run around the bases. It was kids day so all kids under 12 got to do this.

We left at about 930am and all he kept asking us is why we are leaving so early. We kept coming up with lame reasons why. So we got to the ballpark, got the tickets. Second section right behind home plate. Awesome seats. We then went down by the Mets dugout to watch batting practice. Mets lost the game but the real fun was about to begin. He still had no clue until about 10 mins before he was going to run around the bases that he was going to. Well when he found out he was like I dont wanna do it. Who cares? Blah blah blah. yeah right like I believed him. So as we are walking around the field(what an incredible feeling by the way), he said you run and ill run with you.

Ok I said. So we got to 1st base where we had to run. I was like you go and I will be right behind you. I never went. He enjoyed every single second of it. Ran out of gas around 2nd base but still had alot of fun. Got home that night and called all of his friends and told them what he did.

Walking on Shea Stadium field is something I have always dreamt of doing. Well actually playing centerfield is more like it. But I knew that would never happen so I would take just walking around the field. Being a mets fan for as long as I can remember, I enjoyed every single second of this. I touched the centerfield wall, walked on the grass, touched the dugout. It was incredible. The smile on my face was a mile wide.

Sunday May 9th...we won 2 games in softball. Record now stands at 3-5. Mothers day as well. We all went out to
eat at a chinese restaurant....good food.eat at a chinese restaurant....good food.

Ok I have put this off long enough. But here I am with recap of the last few weeks.

May 1st/2nd- Went up to Utica NY for a bowling tournament with the league I am in. So it was a bunch of men from different Knights of Columbus places around the east coast mainly.

Let me tell you this city is boring. Saturday afternoon driving to the bowling alley. We drove about 2 miles. Maybe we saw 5 people. It was that dead! So we bowled 3 games Saturday afternoon after the 5 hour drive up. I bowled like crap. Went to casino that night about 30 mins away. REMINDER TO SELF: Do not play 3 card poker again. I lost 240 dollars in about 15 minutes. Safe to say I will stick to roulette or blackjack next time I go to a casino. We ate at this buffet in the casino. About the only thing good was the mashed potatoes and corn. LOL.

Sunday we bowled 6 more games(singles and doubles). I bowled alot better and my father and I came close to placing in the money in doubles. Finally that evening before we left we had some good food. Ate at a steakhouse. 25 men in a steakhouse means trouble. So of course we had to play some kind of prank. Well we told our waitress it was one of the guys birthday and to get everyone she can find to come out and sing to him. Little did we know the table we planned the prank on was doing it to us also. But we beat them to it. LOL. Drive home was another 4.5 hrs. Could not sleep as the bus was very uncomfortable.
